Fitzroy Weather Glass
A reproduction barometer, replicating those used to predict turns of the weather by Admiral Fitzroy on board the HMS Beagle during the 1830s.
A popular item in the 1860s, popularised (though not invented) by Admiral Robert FitzRoy. The degree to which the liquid inside the orb crystalises is supposed to be predictive of weather conditions. See for yourself how well our scientifically accurate reproduction works!
